Right Choice for McCain

I must admit that I was very worried about McCain’s campaign. Being a maverick that he is and trying to open up to the people on the other side of the aisle (isn’t it interesting that media only calls GOP to fold and reach across, never the other way around), I was afraid that he was going to pick a liberal running mate…may be even Liebermann.

But he made a wonderful choice in Sarah Palin, a young governor from Alaska with five children, who stands up for everything that defines Conservatism.

I am sure that liberal media is going to find anything to bash her…possibly even saying that it was irresponsible for her to have a baby at the age of 44, especially to a baby with down syndrome. That’s how they work. They were never about women advancing and breaking the glass ceiling. They were always about advancing the liberal agendas. I am sure that they will bash her about her lack of experience. Even this morning, as I watched GOP National Convention coverage, they talked about her lack of experience in foreign policies, defense, etc. But I like what Fred Thompson said. Just by sitting in the senate chamber, you do not gain those experiences. She has more experience than Obama. Here is a VP candidate with more experience than the Dem’s Presidential candidate…

Oh, this excites me. First woman VP! Possibly first woman Commander in Chief in the future!

Thanks for making the right choice when it counts, Mr. McCain!
