Obama lied…

As Christians, we have duty to pray for our leaders, whether you agree wtih his political idealogy or not. But exactly what should we pray for them? Should we pray that he succeeds in implementing his ideas and hopefully the nation will come out ok or should we pray that he fails with his agendas so that the nation will be ok? Or should it be somewhere in between?

Personally, I find it difficult to pray for or support President Obama’s plans. I think it will lengthen our current economic woes and he just doesn’t seem to care all that much. Rush Limbaugh mentions that we have $3 trillion of wealth that disappeared since the Inauguration. But Obama simply refers to it as something like Presidential Tracking Poll. Hmmm…

Furthermore, Obama is very deceptive with his style over substance languages and sadly, not enough people can see through it.

Here’s one column that I came across today. This one excerpt demonstrates who true Obama is.

As he said last week: “As soon as I took office, I asked this Congress to send me a recovery    plan by Presidents Day that would put people back to work and put money in their pockets, not because I believe in bigger government — I don’t.”

This he asserted despite the fact that the budget he proposed the next day asks for federal spending as 28 percent of gross domestic product, higher by at least 6 percent than any time since World War II. Moreover, after 10 years, Obama’s proposed spending as a percentage of GDP still would be 22.6 percent, nearly 2 percentage points higher than any year during the Bush administration despite the full costs of Sept. 11, the Iraq and Afghan wars and the rebuilding of New Orleans after Katrina.”

Here’s what I see happening. All the market problems we have will not be resolved. Obama’s plans will just prolong the inevitable for some companies. More and more companies will leave US and take jobs with them, due to higher taxes and cap-and-trade program. People will stop working harder, because if they exceed certain amount, they’ll be taxed like crazy. Taxes on EVERYONE will go up, because that’s the only way you can pay for Obama’s programs. And without some extraordinary events, we won’t see this economy turn around under Obama. We have to remember that FDR actually prolonged the Great Depression with his big government. What got us out of it was the World War II.

I just pray that Obama will somehow realize faults in his plans and return to the fundamental ideas that made this nation great!

  1. Its a good argument, but I beg to differ. Any good politician will lie their way in through to be the “standout” and to gain the trust of the American people. This recession put Americans living in desperate times. Obama focused his presidential race on the economy with his dazzling speaking skills and we all elected him having his trust that he will do so. The reality is however, that we are all blinded. It’ll take more than just his first 100 days of office or even his first full year. His economic recovery plan isn’t as absurd as it seems though. Tax payers money is the only solution to fix this economic crisis. Only Americans can revive the United States back to the way it was. Foreign intervention is never good. It just creates more debt. Companies run this country. When they fall, the employees all fall with them as well. Obama’s bailout plans using our taxes helps maintain the stability of these companies so that they can reorganize their structure. Cutting benefits and bonuses, firing incompetent executives, CEOs, slowing down and cutting any superflous production, along with creating a new marketing plan etc…help get them all back on track. Sure the taxpayers will have to give a little more money, but its for the best in the long run. Only time will tell and hopefully a bright future lies ahead. :)

  2. LOL you use Rush as a source? Rush is a silly entertainer.
furthermore, Obama whom i dont like very much has implemented semi good economic policies, we just need more government control, how can we trust these business fools with the country’s death so near?
also anyone who knows economics knows massive government spending solves economic recession

Ronald Reagan spent more money and created the greatest deficit in American history, the economy soon grew massively.
Franklin Roosevelt’s economic spending most historians agree he didn’t spend enough!

Obama is the soul of all what is good with America today, a return to what america used to stand for is Apartheid
